Learning Objectives:
-Recognize the importance of early identification and ongoing management of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in primary care, including its reproductive, metabolic, and psychosocial impacts.
-Access and effectively use the Provincial PCOS Primary Care Clinical Pathway to support evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and management.
-Promote management strategies for PCOS, including lifestyle, pharmacologic, and monitoring approaches, while leveraging community and allied health resources.
-Determine when referral to specialty care is indicated and identify appropriate local and provincial resources to support patients with complex PCOS presentation.
-Discuss PCOS Research and Community Engagement
